Line and Shape
I shot my photos around my yard my favorite photo that I took was a photo looking up from the ground at a tree.
The photos I took are all parts of nature with the exception of two, those two are my porch and my house.
The point of view that I took my picture from was below.
I choose this point of view because the way the sun was shining it blurred out the back of the photo and made it so you could focus more on the tree.
Yes I used the rule of thirds. The leaves and blur from the sun are in the upper right corner.
My tree photo I feel like the way I shot it, it just leads your eye up the photo.
I think the one with the bricks going up my house best shows shape, it just shows a lot of shape that is moving up the page.

My best photo was shot at a higher angle looking slightly down it was a picture of a tree branch that was arching over the ground, there are a couple brighter areas on the left side from the sun there are also shadows on the ground from the branches and leaves from the tree. The location was out in my front yard.
My best photo was shot from above slightly.
I chose this point of view because of the way the sun was shining and what angle the sun was coming down at.
Yes, i did use the rule of thirds i get the brighter spots from the sun in the upper left hand corner and i kept the branches and tree in mostly the lower right hand corner.
I used the light with showing the shadows more intensely and to emphasize the different shades in the picture.
I think that the picture with the rocks going through the middle is the most successful at showing pattern and leading your eye down the page.
I think that the close up picture of the leave best shows the dynamic composition of texture because the veins in the leave are so defined that looking at the picture its almost like you know the feeling of them just from looking at a screen, the black and white emphasizes the different textures that are coming from the leaf.
