Volleyball
Snow |
In this photo for compositional elements i used the rule of thirds by putting the main focus, which is the volleyball and i put it in the bottom left corner of the picture. The leading line is the wood that is outlining the wall, it leads your eye up and across the picture, also on the volleyball there are lines that lead your eye up and across the picture. I used space with the blue wall in the background it is plain so it brings attention to the main focus in the picture. For technical aspects i used lighting, i used the light on the ball which makes it gleam and brings more attention to it and away from the wall. The focus is mainly on the ball and the shoes. The point of view is from a little above where the focus is, but its mostly looking directly at the picture.

Cell Phone |
I used leading lines in this photo with the trees and the lines in the snow from tires, also with the electrical wires attached to the telephone poles. The texture in this picture is the snow on the ground. The tire marks in the snow show the most texture. All the trees are mostly in the top right corner of the picture which shows rule of thirds. Everything in the picture is in focus which is a large depth of field. In color this picture has more contrast. The point of view is straight on but the road is downhill so it looks like the road ends a lot sooner than it actually does.

Light |
In the photo the bark on the tree is used for leading lines, it moves your eyes up and down the photo and the leaves and brances in the back lead your eyes back to the tree and out to the edge of the photo. From the tree there are two triangles on either side of the tree. The point of view is from below the tree. Its a worms eye view. The lighting is highlighting the outline of the tree and putting the tree more in focus. The black and white photo brings more contrast. The point of view makes the picture more interesting than if it were to be just a normal straight on view.
